FAQ's

  • What else can I do there: Throughout most weekends in November and December we also have local food and drink suppliers in our log cabins selling a selection of hot and colds snacks and beverages. From time to time there are rides for small children (local businesses).
  • Do you have reindeer? No, as you will appreciate Christmas is a very busy time for Santa’s reindeer so you won’t see any on site. However, as we are a working family farm you may be lucky enough to spot some other festive friends including goats and donkeys. (Please note any animals are looked after all year round as part of the farm and will not be offered for public rides, petting or feeding so please refrain from doing so).
  • Do you take card? Yes, the shop, tress and the grotto all take card however due to our rural location and connection it is usually quicker to pay with cash!
  • Can I bring my dog? Due to a large amount of glass decorations we would rather you didn’t bring dogs into the barn, however a small dog on a lead that can be carried is acceptable. Please do note that all breakages must be paid for. All assistance dogs are welcome.
  • Can I buy a rooted tree? No, due to the time it takes do dig a tree with roots we are no longer able to offer rooted trees. However, we do now offer a limited number of already potted trees which can be planted in your garden. You’ll find these outside the shop. If you were after something a bit bigger and still rooted – you’re welcome to bring a shovel!
  • Can I bring a coach trip / large group? Yes, large groups are welcome however please contact us via the Facebook to let us know when you are planning to visit.
  • Can I stay? Stay in one of our three holiday cottages onsite, each with their own hot tub! (Contact us[link] to find out more!)
  • Is there parking? Yes, ample free parking on site.
  • Are there toilets? Yes, two toilets with disabled and baby change facilities.
  • Is there a café on site? No, (not at the moment). However, throughout weekends in November and December there are local food and drink suppliers outside the shop selling their own selections of hot and cold snacks and beverages.
  • How much are the trees? Our home-grown award-winning Christmas trees range in price from £10 upwards depending on what breed and the size you are after. All cut trees are individually priced.
  • How much is Santa’s grotto? £12 per child/entrant spending time with Santa and receiving a gift. Babies in buggies can accompany other children for free although will not receive a gift. Adults/carers accompanying paying children/entrants are free but will not receive a gift.
  • Do I need to book for Santa’s Grotto? No, just turn up. (Unless you are bringing more than 10 children – please get in touch via Facebook).
  • What do you do when its not Christmas?! The barn is available to hire for Weddings and Events. Please visit our sister site Two Hoots Barn for more details.
